Judy LeDoux Leaves Legacy for NCH with a Bequest in Her Will
Judy LeDoux |
Judith LeDoux grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, moved to St. Louis when she married, and has lived the last 21 years in Naples. Her first experience with NCH was her dad’s major cardiac surgery. She came to visit unsure of the caliber of the hospital she would encounter. “Having come from St. Louis with large teaching hospitals, I was pleasantly astonished at the expertise, the nursing care, and the modern facilities and equipment at NCH,” she says. “I was very impressed with the NCH Heart Institute.”
Judy’s parents taught her to give. Her father said, “Always pay back.” When she and her husband did well, she remembered her father’s words and made an unrestricted bequest in her will to be used in the area of greatest need. “A planned gift is the easiest way to give,” says Judy, who loves going to NCH events and getting to know other NCH supporters. She encourages others to leave their legacy gifts to support the future of NCH.
